Bacon & Cheddar Chicken Burger
Makes approx. 4 Burgers
Ingredients
1 Lb., Ground Chicken
1/2 Lb., Bacon
1/2 Cup, Cheddar Cheese, grated
4 large slices, Cheddar Cheese
1 Teaspoon, Garlic Salt
S&P
Drizzle, Olive Oil
4 Brioche Buns
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350F. Place a rack onto a baking sheet and spray both with cooking spray. Place the bacon onto the rack and then bake until crispy, about 15 minutes or so (cooking time may vary, depending on how thick the bacon is). Remove from oven, set aside to cool. Once cooled, chop the bacon up.
Place the ground chicken into a mixing bowl. Add the 1/2 cup of cheese, bacon, garlic salt, S&P and mix well. Form into 4 burger patties.
Place a grill pan on the stove or turn grill on to medium-high heat. Add a drizzle of olive oil to the pan. Cook the burgers for about 5 minutes then flip over and continue cooking. Cook until the burgers reach an internal temp of 165F. Add the cheese slices on top of each burger. Place the pan under the broiler just to melt the cheese.
Toast the buns, top with the burgers and any of your favorite toppings.
Mangia! Enjoy!

The last time I tried to make chicken burgers they weren’t too good. Must try yours, they look and sound amazing!

Aww! Thank you Mindy! Chicken burgers tend to be bland so I usually add lots of extra flavor to them. Definitely give these a try Mindy!! Can’t go wrong with bacon, right?!!
